The NGIPS team supports a critical datapath component: the cloud IPS service which is a key foundational technology of Threat services in Netskope’s SASE and Cloud Firewall solutions. We are a team of software engineers focused on design, developing, testing the IPS service as well as monitoring & improving the IPS service in production. Requirements

8+ years of experience troubleshooting Unix/Linux platforms/systems in production.
Experience in managing a large-scale web operations role.
Experience in one or more of the following: Python, Linux scripting, Perl, C, C++.
Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design.
Hands-on working with private or public cloud services in a highly available and scalable production environment.
Experience in monitoring production services and systems.
Good understanding of TCP/IP and Networking technologies.
Excellent analytical, debugging & problem-solving skills.
Prior experience with Intrusion Prevention Systems and Firewalls is highly desired.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP AND Cloud Technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Opensource technologies) is a plus.
Experience with linux shell operation, shell scripting.
A good understanding of security products like SWG, Web proxies, or cloud security solutions is a big plus.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible etc.
Knowledge of distributed systems a big plus.
