Overview

NeoGenomics is looking for a Billing Reimbursement Specialist II who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This position is a temporary, remote role with a Monday - Friday day shift.

In Short

• Remote position with a focus on billing and reimbursement.
• Responsible for reconciliation of medical claims.
• Work with Third Party insurance bills.
• Increase cash collection and reduce bad debt.
• Appeals and denial management based on payer guidelines.
• Evaluate and respond to billing inquiries.
• Data entry and insurance eligibility verification.
• Review/update patient information for accuracy.
• Investigate denied services for appropriate actions.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma at minimum required.
• 6 years of experience in A/R, Billing, insurance or healthcare.
• Knowledge of coding systems; CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on experience in medical billing and reimbursement.
