As a Billing Reimbursement Specialist II at NeoGenomics, you will be responsible for reconciliation of medical claims to collect revenue, while having opportunities for career development in a dynamic work environment.

• Remote position with a Monday - Friday day shift.
• Focus on increasing cash and reducing bad debt.
• Understand NeoGenomics products and present arguments for medical necessity.
• Manage appeals and denials based on payer guidelines.
• Read and interpret EOBs.
• Respond to billing inquiries from patients or representatives.
• Review various reports including aging.
• Data entry and insurance eligibility verification.
• Investigate denied services and take appropriate actions.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years experience in A/R, Billing, insurance, or healthcare.
• Knowledge of coding systems: CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hands-on experience in medical billing and reimbursement.
