Billing Reimbursement Specialist II - Remote

Overview

NeoGenomics is looking for a Billing Reimbursement Specialist II who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This position is a temporary, remote role with a Monday - Friday day shift.

In Short

• Participate in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
• Focus efforts on increasing cash and reducing bad debt.
• Understand NeoGenomics products and tests.
• Manage appeals and denial based on payer guidelines.
• Read and understand EOB’s.
• Respond to billing inquiries from patients.
• Review and work various reports including aging.
• Data entry and insurance eligibility verification.
• Investigate denied services for appropriate action.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma at minimum required.
• 2 years of experience in A/R, Billing, insurance or healthcare.
• Working knowledge of coding systems; CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Hands-on experience of medical billing and reimbursement.
