In Short

• Temporary remote role with a Monday - Friday day shift.
• Responsible for reconciliation of medical claims to collect revenue.
• Work with Third Party insurance bills (HMO, PPO, IPA, TPA, Medicare).
• Focus on increasing cash and reducing bad debt.
• Understand NeoGenomics products and present arguments for medical necessity.
• Manage appeals and denials based on payer guidelines.
• Evaluate and respond to billing inquiries.
• Review and work various reports including aging.
• Data entry and insurance eligibility verification.
• Investigate denied services and take appropriate actions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma at minimum required.
• 1 year of experience in A/R, Billing, or healthcare.
• Knowledge of coding systems; CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and relevant software.
• Hands-on experience in medical billing and reimbursement.
