Vice President of Human Resources - Remote

Overview

The Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) will report to the Portfolio Manager of Dorado Software Group, a portfolio of global businesses (currently across North America, Europe, UK, the Middle East, South America, India, and APAC) as well as collaborate closely with senior leadership of the portfolio and all the underlying businesses to translate their strategies into progressive HR practices, fostering an engaged, collaborative, and high-performance culture.

• Develop and execute the people strategy and its implementation.
• Partner with BU CEOs to establish the people function as a shared resource.
• Lead advice and counsel on people, cultural, and organizational issues.
• Collaborate with M&A leaders to address people-related issues during acquisitions.
• Design and deliver strategic employee engagement initiatives.
• Drive talent management processes across the portfolio.
• Promote learning and development initiatives.
• Build a strong employer brand and employee value proposition.
• Continuously improve HR policies and procedures.
• Provide HR insights and key operational metrics to leadership.

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent HR certification with a minimum of 7 years of HR leadership experience.
• Experience in enterprise software companies and/or highly acquisitive organizations preferred.
• Track record of success in operational turnarounds and managing M&A activities.
• Experience in global organizations with effective relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives across all organizational levels.
• Adept at building high-performance teams and engaging individuals.
