Relief International is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal support across its global operations, ensuring compliance and risk management.

• Remote position open to candidates in RI countries of operation.
• Salary circa £54k per annum for UK candidates.
• Reviews, drafts, and negotiates contracts.
• Provides legal advice on employment matters.
• Assists in sanctions compliance and data privacy frameworks.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Knowledge of sanctions compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with GDPR and data privacy regulations.
• Experience coordinating with external counsel.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Experience in the international humanitarian or nonprofit sector is a bonus.
• Multi-jurisdictional experience desirable.
• Knowledge of relevant languages is a plus.
