Overview

The Service AI Transformation Team turns existing document data into AI‑powered services and integrations that streamline workflows across Natera’s clinical, commercial, and operational domains. As a Software Engineer III, you will implement features across the stack in a small, highly autonomous squad, applying modern serverless patterns, event streaming, and generative‑AI techniques to deliver reliable, scalable capabilities.

• Implement event‑driven transformation workflows and service integrations.
• Leverage cloud‑based foundation‑model APIs to build AI transformation pipelines.
• Develop internal tooling and dashboards with React/Next.js.
• Integrate with Kafka streams for microservices communication.
• Contribute to AI‑focused testing and quality assurance.
• Instrument services with CloudWatch and Datadog.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and Product teams.
• Participate in design and code reviews.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Next.js, and GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain/Langraph.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
