Overview

The Engagement Manager – EMR Integrations is a role that combines deep technical expertise in EMR systems with strong project management capabilities. This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of EMR integration projects—from planning and implementation to training and post-go-live support. The Engagement Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendors, ensuring that integrations are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with clinical workflows. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical problem-solving and project management.

• Lead EMR integration projects across hospital and large clinic environments.
• Act as both the project manager and technical lead.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Translate clinical workflow needs into technical EMR configurations.
• Deliver on-site go-live support, including training for clinical staff.
• Troubleshoot EMR interface issues effectively.
• Monitor post-implementation utilization and optimize EMR performance.
• Gather feedback for continuous improvement and product enhancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Clinical IT, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience with EMR systems and project management.
• Strong knowledge of Epic systems.
• One active Epic Aura related certification required.
• Background in laboratory, clinical, or health IT preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
• PMO certification is a plus.
