Lab Genetic Counselor - Remote

Overview

Natera’s Organ Health laboratory genetic counselors serve as clinical liaisons to patients and providers regarding Natera’s test offerings.

In Short

• Provide pre- and/or post- test telephone genetic information sessions to patients.
• Develop and maintain expertise in renal genetics knowledge.
• Obtain and maintain GC licensure in all states offering licensure.
• Answer health care provider inquiries regarding Natera’s products.
• Review, finalize, and call out test results.
• Support the sales team by answering field questions.
• Assist in development of patient consents and educational materials.
• Write or collaborate on abstracts or papers.
• Represent the company at trade shows and medical conferences.
• Work with PHI on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent.
• Board-certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
• Two or more years of clinical and/or laboratory GC experience.
• Renal, pediatric and/or adult genetic experience desired.
• Multi-state licensure desired.
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Google and Microsoft products.
