• Provides genetic counseling to patients and families
• Discusses benefits and limitations of genetic testing options
• Performs risk assessment via medical and family history review
• Explains genetic test results to patients and families
• Provides patient education and psychosocial support
• Communicates with healthcare providers through consultation summaries
• Performs patient/provider follow-up as needed
• Handles routine administrative tasks
• Supports projects related to company objectives
• May assist with training new hires

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited genetic counseling program
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Relevant experience in Exome/Genome clinical counseling preferred
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred but not required
