Independent Contractor, Genetic Counselor - Remote

Overview

Everly Health is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic genetic counselor to provide telehealth genetic counseling consultations, outreach, and review of test orders for patients with various indications, including hereditary cancer risk, cardiogenetics, rare disease, and pharmacogenetics.

• Provide telehealth genetic counseling consultations.
• Conduct outreach and review of test orders.
• Work with a variety of indications including hereditary cancer risk and pharmacogenetics.
• Generate consult summary reports for patient records.
• Utilize medical literature in genetic disorder analysis.
• Clarify personal and family history during outreach calls.
• Keep support resources updated with testing practices.
• Must reside in the US.
• ABGC Board-certified with a Master’s Degree in Medical Genetics or related field.
• At least two years of clinical genetic counseling experience.

Requirements

• ABGC Board-certified and a Master’s Degree in Medical Genetics/Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling.
• Must reside in the US.
• Minimum of two years of experience in clinical genetic counseling.
• Willingness to provide counseling for all indications.
