Director of Growth Finance - Remote

Overview

The Director of Growth Finance partners with GeneDx’s core testing growth leaders to ensure a finance-certified understanding of the testing business performance, guiding investment decisions and strategies.

In Short

• Own the decision-support financial view of the testing business.
• Partner with testing Growth Leads on strategy and performance management.
• Translate growth targets into business performance contracts.
• Lead responses to performance variance and economic implications.
• Build decision-support P&L and ROI frameworks.
• Develop business cases for commercial and product investments.
• Drive scenario analysis and capital allocation recommendations.
• Produce board-grade narratives for executive forums.
• Represent Finance’s view in cross-functional decision processes.
• Manage analytics and BI resources for high-impact questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience in Strategic Finance or related fields.
• Experience partnering with commercial leaders for revenue growth.
• Strong financial modeling and economic analysis skills.
• Proven problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.
• Comfort with evolving data and collaboration with analytics teams.
• Experience in preparing materials for executive decision making.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional influence.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling proficiency.
• Occasional travel required (less than 10%).
