Overview

The Senior Director of Strategic Finance at GeneDx will lead the long-range financial planning and investment evaluation processes, collaborating with executive leadership to achieve the company’s growth aspirations.

• Own GeneDx’s long-range plan in collaboration with executive leadership.
• Oversee finance business partner for critical growth areas.
• Develop operating mechanisms to track the company's trajectory.
• Establish investment evaluation cadence across growth levers.
• Strengthen understanding of new and existing markets.
• Support strategic decision-making with structured analyses.
• Develop quick-turn valuations for potential acquisitions.
• Produce board-ready reporting for key decisions.
• Manage a team of finance business partners.
• Position is remote with occasional travel required.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Strategic Finance, Corporate Development, or management consulting.
• Experience in diagnostics, payer, or provider sectors is a plus.
• Proven track record in building long-range plans and investment discipline.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including 3-statement models.
• Working fluency with SQL or data warehouse systems is a plus.
