Overview

The Genetic Counseling Assistant (GCA) supports test utilization management efforts and resolves issues with test orders.

In Short

• Assist with test utilization management efforts.
• Facilitate test set-up and ensure appropriate samples are linked.
• Provide basic client services regarding test orders.
• Maintain knowledge of systems involved in test ordering.
• Identify complex cases for escalation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, chemistry, biology, or related sciences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
