Associate Director of Phlebotomy Operations & Training - Remote

Overview

Natera is seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director of Phlebotomy Operations & Training to lead the development, training, and operational performance of our national phlebotomy network, including Mobile Phlebotomists, Test Coordinators, In-Office Phlebotomists (IOPs), and Patient Service Center (PSC) teams.

In Short

• Lead onboarding and certification of new phlebotomy team members.
• Develop role-specific training materials.
• Design and improve standardized training programs.
• Serve as operational contact for PSCs and IOP locations.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Natera protocols.
• Conduct routine audits and site visits.
• Work closely with HR, Sales, and Logistics.
• Travel for in-person training and evaluations.
• Support corrective action planning and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in clinical or laboratory operations leadership.
• Experience training and managing field-based staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical compliance standards.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
