Senior Software Engineer - Remote

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Engineering Team, Product Managers, and Designers to develop innovative experiences for our internal stakeholders, primarily focusing on creating a custom lab software solution for a high-throughput laboratory.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable services for a high-throughput laboratory.
• Develop both front-end and back-end applications.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Develop comprehensive unit tests to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with end-users and product managers to iterate on requirements.
• Optimize architecture on the AWS cloud platform for performance and reliability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
• Be the technical lead and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Proficiency in AWS services like Lambda, RDS, and S3.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Proficiency in messaging frameworks such as Kafka.
• Strong quality assurance mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
