Field Operation Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Field Operation Specialist is responsible for coordinating logistical and on-the-ground support to Home Study and Post Release Services staff who provide services to release unaccompanied children per Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) requirements.

In Short

• Coordinate safe logistics of travel and lodging for staff.
• Develop and implement systems for staff travel inquiries.
• Monitor staff compliance with budget expectations.
• Work with finance team to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Oversee business accounts with travel and lodging vendors.
• Complete travel usage reports for finance staff.
• Collaborate with finance staff during reviews.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Sanctuary model and organizational policies.
• Participate in training related to equity and inclusion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
• At least two years of experience in logistics and staff travel.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be 21 years or older.
