Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Remote

Overview

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides comprehensive psychiatric services to children and adolescents as part of an interdisciplinary team of behavioral health providers. This position practices within the scope of their license to provide high quality, safe, efficient, and effective client care.

• Salary ranges from $81.20 to $90.46 per hour for nonbilingual and $88.51 to $98.60 for bilingual candidates.

• Minimum of one year experience in psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children and adolescents.
• Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of behavioral health providers.
• Adhere to medical standards and agency policies.
• Provide ongoing education to clients and families.
• Utilize EHR and follow documentation procedures.
• Participate in clinic coverage schedules and provide urgent psychiatric services as needed.

Requirements

• Current Oregon license as PMHNP or APRN with psychiatric certification.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Experience in community mental health settings preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Commitment to trauma-informed care principles.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining professionalism.
• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and psychotropic medication prescribing.
• Must live in Oregon or Washington.
