Director of Compliance - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced, collaborative and pragmatic Director of Compliance to lead our Monzo Bank Limited (MBL) UK Compliance teams and help us build one of the best, most innovative banks in the world.

In Short

• Lead Monzo’s approach to Compliance and Conduct Risk Oversight.
• Work with senior management to instill a positive culture towards compliance.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to Compliance Advisory and Assurance teams.
• Oversee execution of the annual Compliance Assurance plan.
• Lead oversight of Conduct Risk management.
• Represent Compliance at Executive and Board Risk Committees.
• Maintain strong relationships with UK regulators.
• Stay updated with industry developments for compliance.

Requirements

• Experience leading Compliance teams in financial services.
• Knowledge of Compliance and Conduct Risk frameworks.
• Ability to interpret FCA regulations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
