Overview

As a Director, Credit Risk Management (US), you will play a critical role in managing and evolving credit risk strategies across Momentum’s lending portfolio. This role requires hands-on expertise in credit analytics, team leadership, and knowledge of the US subprime lending market.

In Short

  • Develop and implement credit strategies for US lending products.
  • Design, implement, and optimize credit strategies for sub-prime lending.
  • Maintain and enhance underwriting analytics.
  • Monitor loan portfolio performance.
  • Oversee daily work and analysis of the credit risk team.
  • Monitor compliance with risk appetites and policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analysts.
  • Leverage advanced data science and machine learning capabilities.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using SAS, SQL, R, Python.
  • Support the development of customer value models and loss forecasting methodologies.

Requirements

  • Expertise in consumer credit risk management.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in consumer credit risk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of US subprime lending and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency with credit risk tools and statistical software.
  • Experience with lead generation platforms preferred.
