Test Engineer, Lens - Remote

Overview

The Test Engineer will support manual and automated testing efforts to ensure the stability, reliability, and quality of Lens Desktop, the world’s most popular IDE for Kubernetes developers.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable test automation framework with Playwright.
• Translate acceptance criteria into Gherkin scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and maintain test management tools.
• Conduct exploratory testing and risk-based analysis.
• Validate new features and bug fixes through manual testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Hands-on expertise in Playwright.
• Experience with automation tools like Cypress or Selenium.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with BDD frameworks and Gherkin syntax.
• Proven track record of integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
• Relevant QA certifications are a plus.
