Systems / DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Mirantis is looking for a talented Systems/DevOps engineer to join our product team (MOSK) and will be designing, implementing, deploying, and testing cloud infrastructure products on top of open-source components.

In Short

• Deploy, test, and evaluate Mirantis K8S-related products.
• Manage and maintain bare metal test environments.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructures.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management tasks.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
• Work with a geographically distributed team in a dynamic Agile environment.
• Help with customer issues resolutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS).
• Strong networking knowledge, including protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
• DevOps engineering experience, understanding of CI/CD core aspects.
• Thorough understanding and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with versioning control systems, such as Git.
• Hands-on experience with public and private clouds such as AWS, OpenStack.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor degree in CS or related field.
• Good communication skills and can-do attitude.
• Good spoken and written English.
