Overview

The Test Engineer will be a key member of an agile scrum team, responsible for ensuring software quality through writing, executing, and analyzing tests for software products to meet customer needs.

In Short

  • Work with software engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Write test case and test plan documents adhering to SOC2 standards.
  • Perform peer reviews of testing artifacts.
  • Mentor junior Test Engineers.
  • Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
  • Develop and execute test automation code.
  • Coordinate release activities for high-quality product updates.
  • Communicate issues/blockers to the Scrum Master.
  • Monitor work against production schedules.
  • Engage in manual testing when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in writing test artifacts.
  • 1 year of experience in writing test cases and plans.
  • Experience in test automation development.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with agile methodology.
  • Strong sense of ownership and drive.
  • Willingness to mentor junior team members.
