Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented Test Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you will test code and scripting to integrate a satellite ground control system used by multiple mission partners.

In Short

• Design and implement software performance testing procedures and scripts.
• Collect, review, analyze, and report test and evaluation data.
• Test the computer software required to support integration between mission software and the ground system.
• Create technical documentation.
• Incorporate mission partners into the ground systems environment.
• Understanding software testing principles and best practices.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in testing Python scripting.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
• Take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 2+ years of related professional experience.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Experience with Satellite Operations or similar experience related to Space Ops.
• Knowledge of Software Suite services.
• Experience with version control software (Git).
• Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment (Scrum).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
