Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Proposal Writer to join our team, where you will perform fundamental writing and editing tasks required in the preparation of proposals, presentations, reports, and other materials.

In Short

• Research and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop proposal content.
• Perform writing, rewriting, and editorial functions for various proposal sections.
• Support capture managers in summarizing solutions and drafting strengths.
• Facilitate writing sessions and discussions with technical experts.
• Review and edit drafts for clarity and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and style guides.
• Manage multiple writing tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Assist with proposal closeout activities and archiving.
• Support other writing tasks as requested.
• Maintain a repository of reuse material for frequently written sections.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, or Journalism.
• 2+ years of writing experience, preferably in proposals.
• US citizenship required.
• TS/SCI clearance is a plus.
• Shipley or APMP certification in proposal writing is desirable.
• Willingness to travel if needed.
