Overview

The Customer Account Representative is responsible for contacting clients with delinquent accounts to arrange for payment, while providing quality customer service and adhering to regulations.

In Short

  • Make initial contact with clients regarding delinquent accounts.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with debtors.
  • Provide quality customer service to help debtors understand their bills.
  • Handle a large volume of outbound calls daily.
  • Follow Federal and State Laws, including FDCPA and HIPAA.
  • Perform appropriate account maintenance.
  • Exhibit good customer service skills in all contacts.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
  • Must meet physical demands of the job.
  • Participate in a culture of care and community service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of customer service, collections, or call center experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to influence and interact with others.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the position.
  • Close visual acuity for data analysis and computer work.
  • Commitment to high standards of care.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for community service and patient care.
