Meritt is excited to present an incredible opportunity for a New Business Development Manager at a growing Technology Consultancy. This role is with a well-funded technology consultancy based in Central London, specialising in cutting-edge digital solutions.

In Short

  • Accountable for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Cloud, Engineering, and Data Practices.
  • Craft compelling propositions for potential clients.
  • Focus on 'hunting' qualified leads and outbound efforts.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure accurate updates of sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Report to the Head of Sales.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in technology sales.
  • Experience in researching, account planning, and generating leads.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Experience in complex, enterprise-level solution selling.
  • Strong understanding of the technology consulting sector.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts.
