Overview

The HR Generalist I is responsible for managing the employee life cycle, including recruiting, hiring, training, rewarding, and developing employees, as well as ensuring compliance with employment-related processes and policies.

In Short

  • Assist HR Business Partner team with day-to-day HR activities.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances, conduct investigations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and training programs.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support performance management and organizational development.
  • Generate offer letters and conduct background checks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and legal requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS and data management.
