Effective School Solutions (ESS) is one of the country’s leading providers of school-based mental health services for K-12 students. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People team, responsible for delivering core HR services across clinical and operations staff.

In Short

• Support daily HR operations including onboarding and maintaining employee records.
• Deliver high-quality customer service in HR inquiries.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflicts.
• Assist in performance processes and corrective action procedures.
• Manage HR data in ADP ensuring accurate reporting.
• Collaborate on benefit programs and respond to related questions.
• Audit HR policies for compliance with legal requirements.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
• Track and report on employee relations issues.
• Foster a positive employee experience and streamline HR processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in HR.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of employment regulations such as ADA, FLSA, and FMLA.
• Experience maintaining an HRIS system (ADP a plus).
