Overview

The Human Resource Generalist will play a critical role in the support of our employee and business functions across GCP geographies and practices. The person in this role will be responsible for managing a broad range of human resource responsibilities, including HR program administration, system management, onboarding, staff training and development and GCP vision and value engagement. The HR Generalist is responsible for building effective relationships and responding to all employee questions/needs timely and effectively. They will enforce Practice policies and processes, help maintain compliance, provide coaching, and ensure a positive working environment for all staff.

In Short

  • Provide guidance to employees regarding HR related questions regarding benefits, time off, company/procedures and best practices.
  • Oversee all leave administration processes.
  • Manage the HRIS, auditing the system monthly for accuracy, creating monthly reports.
  • Manage external program platforms (401k, benefits, compliance).
  • Analyze employment data and prepare reports regarding HR metrics.
  • Support the Regional HR Manager with employee relations.
  • Successfully onboard/offboard all employees.
  • Work in conjunction with the payroll department regarding compensation changes.
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local labor laws.
  • Support employee engagement program initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively set priorities, manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of effective hiring practices.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, discretion, and decision-making.
