Overview

The Provider Relations Specialist role involves handling pharmacy network operations and inquiries, maintaining provider contracts, managing data requests, and serving as a liaison between the pharmacy benefit manager and various stakeholders, with opportunities to work remotely or from offices in Dubuque, IA or Kansas City, MO.

In Short

  • Field and resolve pharmacy inquiries accurately and timely
  • Interpret and execute on pharmacy network reporting requests and requirements
  • Facilitate submittal, receipt, tracking, and process flow of contracts between MedOne and providers
  • Accurately enter information and maintain contract database
  • Coordinate pharmacy network communications
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the network structure of MedOne’s clients
  • Research and resolve pharmacy payment inquiries
  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows as necessary for continuing education
  • Assist with other Strategic Pricing departmental and company-wide projects as needed
