Quality Assurance (QA) Professional - Remote

Overview

The Quality Assurance Professional is responsible for ensuring consistent standards through testing, documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders, implementing comprehensive test plans while identifying and resolving defects across pharmacy networks and software systems.

• Perform inspections and tests at various stages of plan design and pharmacy networks to identify defects or issues.
• Create and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Identify workflow or production issues and propose solutions.
• Record processes and documentation to support the PLAD and business architecture.
• Educate team members on quality standards and inspection processes.
• Develop comprehensive test plans outlining strategies, objectives, and resources.
• Design and execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure software functionality.
• Document and report software defects, collaborating with software providers to resolve issues.
• Verify that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Monitor and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Work closely with software, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software meets user needs.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is often preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards is highly preferred.
