Pharmacy Underwriting Analyst - Remote

Overview

As an Underwriting Analyst, you will be a strategic team member that is key in both winning new and retaining existing business by compiling financial proposals that appeal to clients, while meeting MedOne goals.

In Short

• Use proprietary Underwriting and Pricing Models, Excel, and SQL to model pharmacy spend.
• Analyze pharmacy claims data and develop reports for various business units.
• Support financial aspects of PBM Request for Proposals (RFPs).
• Assist with technology changes and reporting for accuracy improvements.
• Complete formulary and network disruptions for new clients.
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts for guidance integration.
• Collaborate on analyses and projects with other departments.
• Participate in business unit priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Computer Science, Statistics or IT preferred.
• 1-3 years as a functional Data Analyst.
• Experience in data mining and financial modeling.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Understanding of system architecture and enterprise solutions.
• Intermediate knowledge of reporting and data analytics tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and financial acumen.
• Strategic thinking and proactive approach.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong work ethic and energy.
