Overview

The Account Manager (AM) will be responsible for the overall operational performance strategy and execution for Accredo Specialty Pharmacy clients within the Direct payer space, focusing on service strategy, membership growth, and client satisfaction.

In Short

  • Manage operational performance for Accredo Specialty Pharmacy clients.
  • Develop and execute service strategies for medium and small PBMs.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on account retention and growth.
  • Maintain market knowledge on service trends.
  • Build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with clients.
  • Lead PG reporting requests and analytics.
  • Implement upsell and margin strategies for target accounts.
  • Ensure effective patient service oversight.
  • Participate in renewal activities and RFPs.
  • Represent Accredo at market events and communications.

Requirements

  • College Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare or managed care.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic and financial savvy.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and product knowledge.
  • Ability to drive priorities and results.
  • Experience in account management.
  • Understanding of underwriting principles.
