Overview

The Corporate Counsel and Legal Quality Assurance position at Mango Languages involves ensuring the quality and compliance of legal contracts and documents while mitigating risk and enabling growth within the company.

In Short

• Proofread and quality assure contracts and RFPs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts.
• Maintain knowledge of company contracting standards and data privacy laws.
• Identify and advance legal team projects and initiatives.
• Improve legal processes and templates.
• Facilitate contract compliance training for employees.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy laws.
• Collaborate with external legal specialists.
• Evening collaboration with C-level executives may be required.
• Must have a law degree and bar certification in good standing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in commercial contract negotiation.
• 4+ years of experience with RFPs.
• Experience with data privacy agreements.
• Proficient in MacBook, Google Business Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and FERPA is preferred.
• Experience with data privacy/security frameworks is a plus.
• A certification in data privacy/security is preferred.
