Overview

Responsible for managing commercial relationships for a specified group or geographic region (Southeast USA). This will include managing a staff of relationship managers and may include developing and servicing significant client relationships.

  • Revenue Responsibility: Grow net interest income and fee income for the team.
  • Risk Management: Ensure credit quality and report to senior management.
  • Negotiation: Oversee negotiations for all transactions handled by the team.
  • Staff Development: Train and coach the team, building bench strength.
  • Sales Management: Manage the sales process and represent the bank in the community.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage a staff of relationship managers.
  • Education: Requires a Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience: Ten years of commercial lending experience and previous sales management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Preferred: MBA and knowledge of bank policies.

  • Bachelor's Degree or four years relevant experience.
  • Ten years commercial lending experience.
  • Previous sales management experience.
  • Knowledge of banking credit principles.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Relationship Management skills.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Applied knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of sales achievement.
