Overview

Responsible for managing commercial relationships for a specified group or geographic region, including managing a staff of relationship managers and developing significant client relationships.

In Short

  • Responsible for growing net interest income and fee income for the team.
  • Manage credit quality and keep senior management informed of deteriorating credits.
  • Provide oversight of negotiations for transactions handled by the team.
  • Negotiate, structure, and approve loans within lending limits.
  • Train and coach the team to build bench strength.
  • Manage the sales process and represent the Bank in community activities.
  • Make staffing, performance, and salary recommendations.
  • Overall responsibility for risk management and sales management.
  • Ten years of commercial lending experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or four years relevant experience.
  • Ten years of commercial lending experience.
  • Previous sales management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking credit principles.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Applied knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of sales achievement.
