Wealth Associate - Remote

Overview

The Wealth Associate completes operational tasks such as reporting and data input needs for planning, core banking, investments, and Trust advisement for prospects and clients. They assist Wealth Advisors and Senior Wealth Associates to provide support in the identification and expansion of business and ensure client satisfaction. As skills and knowledge build, this position has increased opportunities for direct client interaction.

In Short

• Assist Wealth Advisors with operational support and reporting.
• Leverage internal and external resources to resolve client-related issues.
• Prepare targeted prospecting lists and support sales strategies.
• Document CRM with prospect, sales, and client information.
• Develop client meeting materials under direction.
• Attend internal meetings to deepen knowledge of investments and banking services.
• Support activities that lead to development of external referral partners.
• Complete data input and reporting needs accurately and timely.
• Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls.
• Promote an environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software.
• Flexibility to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in financial services preferred.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills preferred.
