Overview

The Onsite Support Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of various devices, providing both onsite and remote technical support for clients.

In Short

  • Provide technical support to clients for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and repair various devices including PCs, laptops, and Macs.
  • Maintain inventory of technological equipment and manage ordering of supplies.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and resolve service delivery problems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on devices.
  • Communicate professionally with engineers, clients, and managers.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be available for emergency responses and rotating on-call shifts.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

  • IT-related associate degree or a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in technical support.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and MAC OS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
  • Knowledge of Google Apps is a plus.
  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is a plus.
