Senior Technical Consultant - Remote

Overview

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant for our CMS Group Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying a range of projects, providing senior technical escalation, conducting customer technical reviews, and collaborating with various teams to deliver excellent support and service. The role offers a mix of on-site and remote work with occasional travel to customer sites, including international locations.

In Short

• Perform technical site visits to customer locations for installations and audits.
• Conduct wireless and network audits for performance, security, and compliance.
• Work with the Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform.
• Support customers’ on-premises, Azure, and third-party platforms.
• Maintain clear documentation of deployments and troubleshooting processes.
• Provide detailed reports to track project progress.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact for customers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
• Lead internal training sessions to increase technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred but not required).
• 10+ years of experience in a Senior Technical Services or Consultant role.
• Strong experience with server, network, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Customer-facing experience with escalated technical issues.
• Expertise in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, and more.
• Experience with network auditing and security tools.
• Familiarity with RMM platforms and backup solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL and related technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate remotely.
