IT Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Project Manager for our Operating Company, Hurricane Labs. The Project Manager is responsible for working closely with both Customers and our Security Operations and Splunk Engineering teams to help drive the successful planning, organizing and implementation of Hurricane Labs security managed services.

In Short

• Manage sprints/projects in Jira.
• Organize and facilitate meetings with internal resource teams and customers.
• Create and track project delivery through dashboards and analytics.
• Provide project updates covering progress, risks, and issues.
• Contribute to evolving project management methodologies.
• Identify and eliminate impediments to facilitate teamwork.
• Must have or obtain CompTIA Project+ certification within the first year.
• Experience managing client-facing cybersecurity or IT-related projects.
• Strong technical background in cybersecurity concepts and tools.
• Interest in obtaining Project Management Certification.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Project Management or in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to manage projects in a technology-based service organization.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Passion for customer service and cybersecurity.
• Strong leadership skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication experience.
• Aptitude for technical knowledge, including competency with dashboarding, Splunk, Jira, and Google Suite.
• Associates degree or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience using Slack, Zoom, or similar communication tools.
• Strong technical background in cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices.
