Overview

The Support Specialist is a key member of the Synapticure team, providing essential support services to patients, caregivers, and loved ones affected by neurodegenerative diseases.

In Short

  • Manage inbound calls and schedule appointments for new patients.
  • Communicate with patients via video consultations and phone calls.
  • Accurately document member clinical and demographic data.
  • Coordinate correspondence and outgoing patient communications.
  • Work closely with care team members to coordinate care.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines while advocating for patients.
  • Partner with the care team to complete visit-related tasks.
  • Utilize technology to track tasks and optimize member experiences.
  • Provide empathetic assistance to patients and caregivers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in patient engagement and care coordination.
  • Comfortable with medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and Google applications.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
