Software Development Engineer III - Java Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our engineering team. In this high-impact role, you will own the design and implementation of significant portions of our product development, specifically working with our Bots & Automation team to build a next-generation bot runtime platform.

In Short

• Own the design and implementation of critical backend components.
• Collaborate closely with the Bots & Automation team.
• Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance services.
• Design and develop secure, scalable REST-based backend services.
• Serve as a leader and mentor to other engineers.
• Debug production issues and maintain existing codebases.
• Develop technical specifications and architecture documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations for mission-critical services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithm Design.
• Strong programming skills in Java with multi-threading knowledge.
• Expert-level knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with Data Processing frameworks like Kafka and Spark.
• Experience building REST APIs and debugging microservices.
• Experience in Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other Development tools.
• Cloud expertise in GCP or AWS.
