Software Development Engineer I - Backend - Remote

Overview

Netomi is seeking a Software Engineer with experience in Java development to contribute to the development of their agentic AI platform for enterprise customer experience.

• Work on SOA backend platforms primarily around REST based Web.
• Utilize frameworks such as JAVA (Spark, Spring, ORM).
• Design scalable components at high and low levels.
• Manage defects and collaborate with business owners.
• Address non-functional requirements like performance and security.
• Engage in Build/Deployments/DevOps tasks on AWS.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Assist in defining the project roadmap with technical advisors.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience proficient in Java / J2EE.
• Familiarity with SOA and Multitenant platforms is a plus.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar environments.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automated build/deployments is a plus.
