Senior Software Development Engineer - Full Stack - Remote

Overview

Welcome to the Proactive Messaging team at LivePerson! We are a team of 4 engineers located across 2 countries (India and Germany). We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (SDE III) (all genders) to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced environment on projects spanning different company areas, aiming to enhance and simplify how brands engage with their customers through messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• 5+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• 3+ years of experience with Docker/Kubernetes and relational databases.
• Proficient in GitLab CI, FluxCD, NPM, and Linting.
• Experience with unit and integration tests using Mocha and Chai.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Experience with OAuth and JWT authentication.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Strong communication skills in English.
