In Short

  • Engage and strategise with mid to senior-level executives at client companies or agencies to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue to their business.
  • Proactively provide smart client research and industry-specific information and trends to grow early stage LinkedIn customers.
  • Conceive and pitch sales proposals and renewals to advertising agencies and direct clients with the goal of customer retention and revenue growth.
  • Command, report and forecast sales activity.
  • Drive a strategic plan for your book of business in partnership with your Client Solution Manager to grow revenue from new or churned customers.
  • Generate revenue and hit target quota.
  • Be diligent with sales process and operational excellence including forecasting, tool adoption and engagement tracking.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Insights, Marketing, Media and Operations to collaborate on campaign activation.
  • Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
  • Inspire continued innovation by regularly sharing ideas and best practices with peers and manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years media sales experience.
  • BA/BS degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in selling digital advertising and knowledge of the marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Experience selling into or working with marketing teams and their agencies.
  • Track record of reaching and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven ability to successfully drive revenue via scaled selling across a broad book of business.
