The Benefits Reporting Specialist ensures accurate insurance benefits reporting, supports customers in navigating financial and insurance-related questions, and contributes to process improvements through trend identification.

  • Communicates insurance benefits for patients, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Assists patients and carepartners in understanding their insurance coverage.
  • Collects Out-of-Pocket Waivers and communicates financial assistance outcomes.
  • Ensures clear communication by following up with patients and caregivers.
  • Proactively identifies and addresses customer needs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports key metrics to identify trends.
  • Maintains CRM accuracy and compliance.
  • Follows established department processes and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
  • Ability to deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Effective communication via email, phone call, and text.
  • Calm and professional demeanor when assisting customers.
  • Ability to identify and address customer needs.
  • Proactively report trends and recommend solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and departments.
  • Workload flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to adjust to the needs of people with disabilities.
