Implementation Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Implementation Engineer at LightEdge will provide professional deployment of cloud services while collaborating with customers on complex IT projects.

In Short

• Provide remote service delivery support and administration.
• May provide on-site datacenter equipment installation.
• Work directly with clients to determine project requirements.
• Identify and resolve incidents related to client services.
• Communicate project status effectively to Project Managers and clients.
• Create environment designs based on sales proposals.
• Deploy network, systems, software, and security solutions.
• Ensure project documentation is complete and stored appropriately.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews for service delivery.
• Contribute to service delivery innovation and improvement.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, security, or virtualization.
• Strong understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience with VMware, HyperV, or Kubernetes.
• Experience in a datacenter or managed service provider environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
