Overview

LemFi is seeking an experienced Credit Compliance Officer to lead compliance oversight for our innovative lending products, ensuring they remain compliant and customer-focused.

• Lead compliance oversight across lending products.
• Maintain compliance framework for credit-related activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to product and credit teams.
• Review credit-related communications to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Oversee compliance across credit journeys and lead monitoring plans.
• Support adherence to SMCR and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Interpret new regulatory guidance and translate it into business policies.
• Partner with legal, risk, and data teams for ethical data use.
• Act as a key contact during regulatory engagements and audits.
• Support the Compliance team on Consumer Compliance matters.

Requirements

• 5+ years of compliance experience in consumer lending or financial services.
• Expertise in UK credit to hold SMF16/17 responsibilities.
• Knowledge of FCA’s CONC, SMCR, and Consumer Duty.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for drafting compliant policies.
